APS Team at the Charger Game

With friends and family, the APS team enjoyed the Salute to Service San Diego Chargers game on Sunday, November 13th. The day started surrounded by Dolphins and Chargers fans at the tailgate party in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot, enjoying Phil’s BBQ and playing a couple competitive games of cornhole. The Chargers and Dolphins played a phenomenal game, but the pregame and halftime entertainment was what was most moving.

The Salute to Service game was kicked off with a performance by the Navy Band Southwest and the National Anthem sang by Staff Sergeant Megan May of the United States Air Force, along with a skydiving demonstration by the ex-Navy Seals Frog-X parachute team and a flyover by an USAF KC-135 Stratotanker. At halftime, the Chargers honored five service members of each branch of the United States Armed Forces. What a way to honor the Veteran’s Day weekend! APS is honored to have Ron Gunns, Steve Hart, and Russell Fouts, U.S. Veterans, as part of their team.
